We Scanned 2,000+ Indian Porn Sites — Here's What We Found

Our research uncovered alarming findings about NCII distribution networks, failed takedown processes, and the scale of non-consensual intimate image sharing on Indian adult platforms.

We Scanned 2,000+ Indian Porn Sites — Here's What We Found

The Scale of the Problem

When we started building Sniffer, we needed to understand the landscape we were entering. Not theoretically — we needed hard data on how Indian adult platforms handle (or fail to handle) non-consensual intimate images (NCII).

So we scanned them. Over 2,000 of them.

What we found was worse than we expected. The systems designed to protect victims — moderation teams, abuse reporting forms, DMCA processes — are largely broken. And the platforms hosting this content know it.

Key Findings

1. 98% of Victims Never Report

This isn't our number — it comes from Public Prosecutor Adv. Bivas Chatterjee in the landmark case State of West Bengal v Animesh Boxi (2017): "98 percent of cyber-crime victims do not even complain as the victims, who are usually women, fear they will get identified and labeled in society."

The implications are staggering. For every victim who comes forward, 49 others suffer in silence. The reported cases represent only the tip of the iceberg.

2. NCII Networks Generate $20-80K/Month Per Network

Our research identified several interconnected Indian porn site networks that profit directly from NCII content:

NetworkDomainsEst. Revenue
MyDesimydesi.ltd, mydesi5.com, mydesi.click, mydesi.media$20-80K/month
Desi49desi49.com.co, desi49 variants$10-30K/month
Othersfry99.com, top69.mobi, aagmaal, viralkand$5-20K/month each

These networks use WordPress-based CMS, Cloudflare for DDoS protection, and multiple mirror domains for resilience against takedowns. Content is hosted on cloud storage (Mega, Google Drive, offshore servers).

3. "Leaked MMS" Is the Most Searched Category

The most searched category on Indian porn sites is "Leaked MMS" — predominantly non-consensual content. Other NCII-relevant categories include:

  • "Hidden Camera" — spy cam footage without consent
  • "Ex-Girlfriend" revenge content
  • AI-generated deepfakes of real individuals
  • Content scraped from Telegram channels

4. Telegram: India's "New Dark Web"

The Indian government told Delhi High Court that Telegram has become "the new dark web" — used for CSAM, NCII, financial fraud, exam leaks, and terrorism propaganda. India temporarily banned the platform.

Our investigation found:

  • 1,100+ Telegram groups accessible for Rs.500
  • Rate cards: Rs.299 for "desi leaked MMS," Rs.349 for child content
  • Payment via UPI QR codes (traceable)
  • 2TB+ of content stored on Mega cloud per seller
  • Sellers operating from Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana

5. 7,632 Cases Under Section 67A (2024)

NCRB data shows 7,632 cases under Section 67A (publishing sexually explicit material) in 2024 — with a consistent yearly increase. Total cybercrime cases exceeded 86,000, up 17% year-on-year.

But remember: 98% of victims never report. The actual scale is likely 10-50x the official statistics.

What This Means for Victims

If your intimate images have been shared without consent on Indian adult platforms, here's the reality:

  1. The platform likely won't help. Most operators are anonymous, offshore, and unresponsive.
  2. The government can't block them fast enough. Mirror sites appear within hours of takedowns.
  3. You need evidence. Not screenshots — forensic, cryptographically verifiable evidence.

This is why we built Sniffer. Not as another reporting tool that feeds into broken systems, but as a way to generate the kind of evidence that platforms, law enforcement, and courts can actually act on.

The Path Forward

The MeitY SOP of October 2025 mandates 24-hour takedown, crawler technology, and hash-matching. But nobody has built this for Indian porn sites yet.

Sniffer is building it.
